Here is an example. Say Team A wins at odds of 2.50 — that is Decimal format. The same price is written as 3/2 in Fractional and +150 in American format. If you bet ৳200 and Team A wins, you get back ৳500 (৳300 profit + ৳200 stake). If they lose, you lose the full ৳200.
Favourites generally have lower odds. For example, if Team B's odds of winning are 1.50 (or 1/2 or -200), a ৳200 bet returns ৳300 (৳100 profit).
In a cricket match (no draw in limited-overs format): Team A 2.10, Team B 1.75. A ৳1,000 bet on Team B returns ৳1,750 if Team B wins (৳750 profit); if Team A wins, you lose ৳1,000.

Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bets
Clicking on the price for any market automatically adds it to the bet slip. If there is only one selection, it is a single bet. Enter your stake in the slip and the potential return is calculated instantly.
A multi bet is created when the slip contains two or more selections, and their odds are multiplied to produce a combined price. Example: if three selections have odds of 1.60, 1.80 and 1.90, the combined odds = 1.60 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.47 (approximately). A ৳100 bet returns ৳547 if all selections win. But if even one loses, the full ৳100 is gone — multi bets carry higher risk, so plan your bets carefully.
Once all selections are added, press the "Place Bet" button. If your balance is sufficient, the bet will be confirmed and a reference number will appear on the slip.

Bet History — Open and Settled Bets
After placing each bet, you can view it in the "Bet History" or "My Bets" section of your account. There are two tabs here: Open (active) and Settled.
- Open Bets: All bets where the match or event has not yet finished. Once the result is in, they move to the Settled tab automatically.
- Settled Bets: Returns from winning bets are added to your balance; losing bets are closed. The reference number, date, odds and amount for each bet are recorded here.

How a Betting Exchange Works
Besides regular betting (back bets), 333 bit also has a betting exchange market where players bet against each other. There are two roles here:
- BACK (bet for): If you think Team A will win, BACK them with ৳500. At odds of 2.50, if Team A wins you make ৳750 profit; if they do not win, you lose ৳500.
- LAY (bet against): If you think Team A will not win, LAY against a backer of ৳500. Your liability is ৳750 (৳500 × 1.50). If Team A does not win, you make ৳500 profit; if they do win, you pay out ৳750.
A commission is deducted from exchange winnings. Check the commission amount before placing a bet — it is a portion of your profit.
